935,834. Smallware looms. IMATEX INDUSTRIA MACCHINE TESSILI S.r.1. Dec. 22, 1959, No. 43553/59. Class 142 (2). A smallware loom has rotating recessed beating up discs 36 which are driven to move quickly during beat-up and slowly during weft laying and a bow shuttle N which is moved quickly across the loom during the slower phase of the beating up discs and slowly during beatup. A continuously rotating shaft 12 has a disc 16 with a slideway 18 which drives a slide 20 connected to a gear 24 which rotates a gear 30 connected to the discs 36. The shaft 12 also has a gear 84 driving a gear 82 and a cam 76 which oscillates a lever 70. Oscillation of the lever 70 oscillates a shaft 58 which, by gears 56, 52: 54, reciprocates the shuttle.
