Change-box motions.-The head-motion shaft b<1> by means of which the logging-back of the heald and box motions is effected is rotated by power, when desired, by means of a constantly driven belt controlled by a handle and co-operating with fast and loose pulleys on the shaft. The belt h is under control of a belt-fork n on a slide l, which is mounted in a bracket m on the loom frame and is operated by a finger k on a rod j having a handle j<1>. A spring o is adapted on release of the handle j<1> to move the rod into position for shifting the belt on to the loose pulley when the required shed has been reached.
