Abstract

934,457. Seed sowing machines. E. H. BENTALL & CO. Ltd. June 28, 1962 [June 28, 1961], No. 23459/61. Class 6(1). A seed sowing device comprises two discs 1, 1<SP>1</SP> which form a drum container for seeds and are formed with peripheral lips 12 of arcuate section which form a discharge slot 13 for seeds which are delivered through openings in two rings 14, 15 which are supported on the periphery of the discs and which are relatively adjustable to alter the effective size of the openings which are formed in the rings. As shown the discs are mounted on a spindle 2 which is provided with an agitator 20 and which is attached to links 3 coupling the device to a member 22. Chains 11 act to cover up the seed.
