779,594. Seed sowing machines. RUSSELL'S (KIRBYMOORSIDE), Ltd. Nov. 23, 1955, No. 33647/55. Addition to 766,039 [Group II]. Class 6(1). In the machine for planting or distributing seeds or the like as claimed in the parent Specification a deflector 17 is disposed adjacent the opening at one side of the receptacle and has a portion 4 extending across the peripheral portion 6 of the rotatable bottom plate 1 and a portion 18 which extends around a shoulder 4 of a raised portion 3 of the bottom plate. The deflector is carried by a shroud 9 which is disposed within the receptacle and forms part of a curved plate 7 which is fixed to the wall of the receptacle.
