933,221. Powder mixing appliances. APEX CONSTRUCTION Ltd., and W. C. PECK. Jan. 1, 1960 [Jan. 21, 1959], No. 2262/59. Class 86. A powder mixer comprises a mixing vessel having a central cylindrical portion 1 and end portions 2, 3, each end portion being in the form of a frustum of an oblique cone. The vessel is rotated about an axis, perpendicular to the axis of the cylindrical portion, by an electric motor 7 through gearing enclosed in a casing 8. The axis of rotation may be horizontal or inclined to the horizontal. The ends of the vessel are provided with a large detachable inlet cover 5 and a smaller discharge outlet or valve 4. Specification 815,585 is referred to.
