Abstract

1,074,520. Dough mixers. K. KEMPER. Nov. 23, 1965 [Nov. 23, 1964], No. 49740/65. Heading B1C. An agitator for a dough mixer has blades b, b' mounted on a rotatable shaft a with a tapering helical spring wire coil c extending between them; the blades are twisted in opposite directions, have cutting edges (see Fig. 4. not shown) and extend radially beyond the coil. The mixing chamber d has a pivotable lid e operated by a clamp handle f and can be tilted for discharging by a handle h. In operation. the agitator is rotated in a direction such that the coil presses the dough downwards.
