[Also in Division B7] A concrete mixer has a container 1 with a central part 6 formed from two semi-cylindrical parts, an end part 2 formed from two hemispherical parts and a spout 4 formed from two semi-frusto-conical parts C. Agitators may be paddles 18 (Fig. 5), rotatable opposed helices 21 (Fig. 8) or paddle blades 26 spanning pairs of chains 25 carried by pairs of sprockets rotating on shafts 22, 23.
