930,030. Panty girdles. SARONG Inc. Nov. 9, 1961 [Nov. 10, 1960], No. 40144/61. Class 141. A panty girdle comprises a waist band 20, elastic or inelastic side panels 11, 12 which may be made integral with or joined to an elastic back panel 13 (Fig. 2, not shown) and a crotch piece 40 joined to the lower edge of a front panel 19. Inelastic upper panels 30 and 31 overlap each other and the lower panel 19 and are secured only at their side edges 16 and 17. The one-piece lower panel 19 may be replaced by a panel made from two pieces 19a, 19b having stretch characteristics as shown. The leg portions may be hemmed or finished with bands 43, as shown.
