Abstract

928,282. Lifting dogs. LIFTING GEAR PRODUCTS (ENGINEERING) Ltd. May 24, 1960 [May 27, 1959], No. 18107/59. Class 78 (4). The arms 4, 2 on a lifting dog are suspended by chains, one of which terminates in a ring 20 which slides on the other. This is said to permit the dog to grip small loads more securely. An enlarged link 22 in the chain 12 limits the movement of the ring 20. A stop 24 limits the extent of closing of the jaws.
