Abstract

927,181. Roofing sheets. MARLEY TILE CO. Ltd. Jan. 12, 1962 [Oct. 13, 1960], No. 35069/60. Class 87 (1). Roofing sheets 10, 11, 12, 13, of thermoplastic or thermosetting material, have at one edge a flange 16 and lip 17 which provide a channel for an upturned rib 15 of an adjacent sheet. The sheets have corrugations of semi-circular or, as shown, of trapezoidal section. Alternatively, the sheets may be of sinusoidal section. Elongated slots are provided in the flanges 16 to receive securing nails and to permit the overlap of sheets in adjacent courses, parts of the ribs 15 and lips 17 of the sheets may be cut away.
