A coupling for two crossing rod-like members such as scaffold poles or television aerial components comprises a pair of similar channelsection components 5 having apertures 13 by which they may be slid on to a first tubular member 6, and toothed depressions 7 for gripping a second member 8. When the fixing bolt 10 is tightened the components 5 pivot round the member 8 and the edges of the apertures 13 grip the member 6. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 777,837.
