924,728. Non-refillable bottle stoppers. F. SCHWARZMANN. July 25, 1961, No. 26960/61. Class 66. A non refillable stopper comprises a body 1, end plates 2, 3, intermediate apertured baffles 6, 7, 8, a flap valve 14 of resilient material and air inlets 5 leading to a pipe 10. Below the pipe 10 the air passage, which enters an extension pipe 17, is closable by means of a base valve 20. The stopper is held in a bottle neck by sprung barbs which interlock with grooves in the neck. A screw cap with sealing lining may enclose the end of the stopper. The flap valve 14 may be replaced by a pyramid or pipe having lips at one end which are normally closed due to the resilience of the material, Figs. 11-14a (not shown).
