[Also in Group XVII] A method of packing components of a mixture in which the components must be segregated until they are used, comprises sealing a component 1 in a container 3 and another component 2 in a container 4 and suspending container 4 in the mouth of container 3 by means of a plug 5, axially displaceable through the closure 6 of the container 3, so that when the plug 5 is withdrawn from the container 4, the latter falls into the component 1 to permit mixing. The closure 6, and annulus 9 which is sufficiently pliable to permit movement of the plug, seal the container 3 when the plug is withdrawn. The containers may be made of glass or plastics and the closure may be totally enclosed in a metal cap 10.
