923,284. Cartons. JOHN WADDINGTON Ltd. Oct. 5, 1961 [July 6, 1960], No. 23557/60. Class 18. A carton formed from a single blank, Fig. 1 comprises ends 1, 3, op posing closed sides 2, 4 and two partly open sides having angularly arranged flaps 1<SP>A</SP>, 1<SP>B</SP>, 2<SP>A</SP>, 2<SP>B</SP>, 3<SP>A</SP>, 3<SP>B</SP>, 4A and 4<SP>B</SP>. In the erected carton tongues 8 engage with slot 6 to hold the flaps in position said flaps providing platforms inside the carton to support and display the article. The edges of the flaps are contoured to the shape of the article. The closed sides formed by panels 2, 4 may have windows or fretted patterns therein.
