Abstract

922,941. Plug-stoppers. VERRERIES POCHET ET DU COURVAL S.a.r.L., and J. J. AUGROS. Dec. 10, 1959 [Dec. 13, 1958], No. 42069/59. Class 125(3). A bottle or like stopper comprises a body portion 1 of rigid material provided with a plug portion 2 the surface of which is formed to provide an interlock for moulding a sleeve 3 of resilient plastics material on to it. In Fig. 2 the surface of the plug is roughened and in Fig. 3 the plug has a part 2a of reduced diameter which together with notches or grooves 5 in the plug forms the interlock. The sleeve may be screw threaded for engagement with the bottle neck.
