Abstract

The bottle stopper is in two parts. The bottle has a tapering neck, with the diameter of the opening being the smallest. The stopper is made from flexible material and can be pushed into the bottle. The stopper has a cap (4) which is integral with a central screw (5) fitting into the hole (31) in the stopper. The cap fits over the end of the stopper and also over the sides of the bottle neck. It may be fitted by pushing on but has to be turned to be removed from the bottle.
