In a fluid-pressure device having regions of high and low pressure which are divided by a pressure wall, the wall has a bore through which a rotatable shaft passes and has pressurechambers circumferentially-spaced around the shaft which communicate with said bore and with the high-pressure region. In an embodiment, the pressure wall 1 divides the high-pressure region 2 from the low-pressure region 3 and the pressure-chambers 7, 8 and 9 are connected to the region 2 by passages 10, 11.
