Abstract
919,639. Dismountable stands. ROSS, H. H. Feb. 23, 1961 [Feb. 23, 1960; June 8, 1960], Nos. 6412/60 and 20194/60. Class 52 (3). Boxes 18 for punched cards are slung between horizontal bars 12 which are carried by spigot and socket connections with end frames 10, 11. The framework can be extended indefinitely by using end frames 11 from which spigots 17 project on both sides. Terminal end frame 10 may provide a cantilever support for a box 28 by means of a spigot and socket connections 42. The lower cross members 16, 19 of the frames are connected by horizontal bars 26. A trolley frame 32 runs on rollers 34 on tracks 30. The frame 32 may carry a sheet of plate glass or further boxes 18. A shelf 50 is mounted by a spigot and socket connections 24. Reference is made to a trolley which is movable transversely of bars 12 on a partially cantilevered track. A removable table top may be spigot and socket mounted in the upwardly open ends of the side members of the frames 10, 11 or, when out of use, clipped to the back of the support structure. Feet 14 are vertically adjustable by means of a screw-threaded engagement with legs 13, 20. A tray 44 may overlie box 28. According to one Provisional Specification the trolley frame may be replaced by a sliding panel.
