Abstract

918,805. Drawer and shell boxes. SIEFVERT & FORNANDER A.B. Jan. 10, 1961 [Jan. 15, 1960], No. 1095/61. Class 18. The drawer of a drawer and shell box is provided with a number of substantially plane projecting tongues 5, each having a rounded edge and arranged to frictionally engage an inner surface of the shell 7. The tongues may extend from either the upper or lower edges of side walls 2 and may be formed either integrally with these walls, as shown, or on extensions of folded over end walls, Figs. 5 and 8 (not shown). In the latter case the extensions are not fixed to the side walls 2 and are therefore resiliently displaceable as the drawer is inserted into the shell. Indentations or slots may be formed in the shell, Figs. 13, 14 (not shown), to receive the tongues 5.
