Abstract

916,013. Frequency changer circuits. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. Feb. 3, 1959 [Feb. 6, 1958], No. 3800/59. Class 40 (6). In a radio receiver frequency-changer circuit the signal from the aerial input circuit 11, 12 is applied to the neutral point of an inductor 13 to which the local oscillation is applied from an oscillator O. Two diodes D 1 , D 2 are arranged across the coil in the same polarity and are connected together by a capacitor C 2 having a low impedance. The resulting I.F. output is derived from a tuned transformer 15, 16 the diodes are biased from the H.T. supply through resistor R.
