Abstract
914,114. Fittings on vehicles for loading and unloading. SOC. NOUVELLE DES ATELIERS DE VENISSIEUX S.A. July 17, 1959 [Jan. 8, 1959], No. 24609/59. Class 78 (4). [Also in Group XXXII] A wagon having along each of its longitudinal sides a plurality of sliding doors 3, 4, Fig. 1, is provided on its floor 1 with a plurality of pairs of angle-iron tracks 5 each pair adapted to receive three load-carrying platforms 9, Fig. 2, provided with wheels 11 to engage the tracks, whereby platforms loaded at one side of the wagon are moved towards the other side until each track is filled with loaded platforms. The platform comprises a rectangular frame of U-section iron reinforced at each corner by a plate 10. Each plate 10 has a depending lug 14 for engagement with an associated locking latch 15 pivotally mounted on a pin between a yoke 17 welded to the angle-iron 5. Stop-plates 18 are provided at each end of a rail 5 for engagement with a wheel 11.
