Abstract

913,341. Bearings. ISOCO S.A. July 26, 1961 [Nov. 25, 1960], No. 27164/61. Addition to 809,387. Class 12 (1). A bearing for the shaft 11 of a measuring instrument is as described in the parent Specification, except that the step-bearing comprises a frusto-conical setting 20 which, having a recess therein, receives a stone 3; the shaft 11 is reduced at 11b and passes through an aperture 1b of the housing walls 1a; and the plug 7 is driven into the housing. The stone 3 has a conical depression 4, the diameter of which is less than the diameter of the aperture 1b The relationship between said diameters and the diameter of the portion 11b of the shaft ensures alignment of the shaft axis with the depression 4.
