911,847. Heat-exchange elements. NORTH THAMES GAS BOARD. May 31, 1961 [April 6, 1960], No. 12231/60. Class 64 (3). [Also in Group XXVIII] Liquid methane is vaporized when flowing through passages 9 of elliptical cross-section in a heat-exchanger (see Group XXVIII). The passages 9 are formed in elements comprising of a pair of plates, each formed at intervals with channels which when the plates are in abutment from the passages 9. Water is caused to flow over the elements to vaporize the methane.
