Abstract
911,411. Loud-speakers. TELEFUNKEN G.m.b.H. March 5, 1959 [March 5, 1958], No. 7666/59. Drawings to Specification. Class 40 (4). In a moving-coil loud-speaker having a diaphragm of maximum diameter not greater than 215 mm., one or both polepieces have applied to their surface or surfaces adjacent the moving coil a coating of material of higher conductivity than that of the polepiece or polepieces, the thickness of the coating or aggregate thickness of both coatings being 0.2 Œ 0.05 mm. Where the loud-speaker is elliptical the geometric mean should be not greater than 215 mm. The coating may be of copper or silver.
