Abstract

910,243. Steam traps. CLOUGH, G. F. G. July 3, 1961 [July 23, 1960], No. 25725/60. Class 64 (2). Steam trap mechanism such as is described in Specification 897,061, is housed in a central cavity in a disc 1 which has parallel faces with coaxial inlet and outlet openings 14 and 18 respectively communicating with the cavity, bolt holes 5 extending through the disc from face-to-face clear of the cavity being provided. The disc is fitted between the flanges 2 of inlet and outlet pipes 3, 4 by means of bolts 12 and nuts 13. A removable strainer 10 is inserted into a bore 9 which projects into a passage 15 leading from the inlet 14 to the central cavity.
