Abstract
909,003. Dental stands. AMALGAMATED DENTAL CO. Ltd. June 2, 1961 [June 15, 1960], No. 21074/60. Class 81 (2). The tray of a dental stand is mounted on a pivoted telescopic arm. In the form described, a base 26 carries two vertical guides 19, in which run the corresponding guide members attached to a tubular column 17. The latter is connected by cords 23 to a balance weight 22 and thus may be easily raised and lowered. A spigot 16 is rotatably mounted in the top of this column and supports a hollow, channel member 10, this having a telescopic extension 11 mounted within it on ball guides 12. The free end of this extension is shaped, at 15, to receive a tray bracket, which is preferably rotatable. If desired, an instrument housing may be mounted below the tray and may be independently rotatable. Specifications 909,001 and 909,002 are referred to.
