Abstract
523,949. Brackets for posts. COOK, J. W. D. Jan. 10, 1939, No. 10216/40. Divided out of 523,511. [Class 52 (v)] In a display stand &c. of the kind in which a claw-fitted bracket engages an annular shoulder on a pillar, the supported device is directly pivotally mounted on the bracket so as to allow of tilting. In Fig. 1 the tray d or supporting arm h is pivoted at g and is adjustable through a screw f. In a modification, the shoulder on the pillar, instead of being formed as shown, is the top edge of a sleeve sliding on the pillar and secured thereto by transverse pins, at a suitable height. In Fig. 5, the tray h is pivoted at g to a T-shaped member m, the lower part of which is adjustable transversely by a screw o, so as to tilt laterally in the bracket a. Specifications 299,109, [Class 52 (v)], and 421,233 are referred to.
