Abstract

181,890. Smith, E. R., and Abdulla & Co. April 14, 1921. Rack stands.-A display stand for cigarettes &c. comprises a central column 1, mounted on a base 2 and carrying a number of horizontal arms 3 vertically adjustable thereon by straps 4 and screws 5, the arms being jointed at 3 to permit horizontal angular adjustment of their extremities which have clips 6 and screws 8 to secure the display boxes 7 &c. A dummy representation 10 of the article displayed may be secured to the column 1 by straps 11 and screws 12. A display tablet 13, which may comprise a transparency illuminated by an electric light 14 &c., may be fitted at the head of the column. The base may be provided with an upright 16 carrying a holder 15 for a display base 7, or such holder 15 may be adjustably mounted and serve as support for an inclined mirror.
