Abstract

908,724. Endless chain conveyers. KING, D. M. Dec. 16, 1960 [Dec. 22, 1959], No. 43528/59. Class 78 (1). Each link of a conveyor chain is provided with rollers 12 supported on a boss element 14 secured within the links by rivets 21. The link is formed as a flattened loop from a single strip of metal and rounded bearing surfaces 17 allow for universal movement between adjacent links. A track 18 has a longitudinal slot 19 to allow the passage of load bars 20 which are attached to the chain at any roller assembly wherein the roller rotates about a normally horizontal axis.
