Abstract

965,840. Endless conveyer belting. G. PIEMONT. July 26, 1963 [Aug. 21, 1962], No. 32068/62. Heading B8A. Endless conveyer belting 13 has corrugated border strips 10 secured to it as by vulcanizing, and equi-spaced bars 14 extend between the strips to define compartments for reception of material or articles to be conveyed. The bars 14 are tapered at 15 to fit in close proximity to the strips 10 have cut-outs 16 to facilitate securing of the bars to the belt. The bars may be secured in curved form to the belt. Rollers 20 maintain a desired curvature of the belt by bearing on flanges 12 of the border strips 10. Specifications 757,868 and 849,601 are referred to.
