Abstract
908,595. Cabinets. MASCAGNI, U. July 21, 1961 [Aug. 3, 1960], No. 26446/61. Class 52 (1). In a closure arrangement for a cabinet, a first panel 1 is hinged by a vertical edge to the cabinet A, a second panel 2 is hinged to panel 1, a bar 8 is hinged to the top of the cabinet and to panel 2 at the top edge thereof and a tension spring 11 is anchored at 10 on the top of the cabinet and to panel 2 so as to pull the panels inwardly but pass through a dead-centre position when the panels are opened to retain them in opened position. The meeting edges of the panel may have dustproof packing members N, E inserted in channel members P secured to the edges (see Fig. 3, not shown).
