A door unit comprises a door 1 consisting of two side members 3 and a central panel 2 of profiled elements 7 assembled by tenons and mortices and a rebated door casing constituted by hollow side members 5 and cross member 6 arranged to project on each side of a wall 4, the side members 3 carrying a portion substantially cylindrical or part cylindrical relief which extends over the entire lateral edges of the door on that face thereof to be pulled to open and which can be used as gripps for opening the door, the door having top and bottom pivot pins 17, 19 carried respectively by a projecting part 25 of the cross member 6 and the ground or a bottom cross member 28 and engaging in corresponding co-axial cylindrical holes 26, 27 provided at the top and bottom of one of said side members of the door. One of the side members 5 is fitted with a bolt 10 which cooperates with a socket in a side member of the door when closed and a knob 8 is provided on the closure side of the door to enable the door to be drawn to the closed position where it may be held by a magnet 9.
