Abstract
Acetylene is purified to remove other unsaturated hydrocarbons by contact with sulphuric acid of concentration by contact with sulphuric acid of concentration greater than 95% by weight and containing aluminium sulphate in a concentration not lower than 0.001% by weight of the sulphuric acid.
