Abstract

907,075. Brassieres. GOSSARD CO., H. W. April 14, 1961 [Jan. 4, 1961], No. 13509/61. Class 141. In a brassiere wherein the front portion comprises breast pockets 1, 2 secured to upwardlytapered inelastic central and end sections 3, 5, respectively, each breast pocket consists of inelastic upper and lower cup sections 4, 6 and a pair of elastic inserts 7, 8 of two-way stretch net fabric on opposite sides of the lower cup section. A longitudinally elastic tape 17 extending along the lower edge of the front portion is stitched to the sections 3, 5, 6 and the inserts 7, 8.
