905,948. Wrapping-machines. HANSEL jun. G.m.b.H., OTTO. Jan. 23, 1959, No. 2518/59. Class 94(1). The feed plate for a confectionery &c., wrapping machine comprises separately driven rings each having one or more peripheral rows of openings. As shown, two differently shaped articles 4<SP>1</SP>, 61 are fed from a divided hopper 24, 25 by vibratory means to rings 5 and 3 respectively. Walls 18, 19, 28, 30 and brushes 29, 31 prevent mixing of the different articles, and return articles not pocketed in the usual manner. Plates 33, 34 bridge the apertures in the inner ring so that articles from the outer ring may return. The walls 19 are attached to the walls 18 by clips &c. 20. The rings are driven intermittently at different speeds so that two apertures are aligned with an ejector 32 at each halt. Each ring may feed a separate wrapping machine.
