In a structure for parking cars, lower inclined floors 11-14 below ground level 10 are provided with lower access roads 17-19 and upper floors 21 are provided with upper access roads 15, 16. The upper floors may be inclined and when the structure is arranged on sloping ground, a single road provides access to one upper floor and an adjacent lower floor. In a modification, the upper floors are horizontal and may be used for storage of goods.
