[Also in Group XXIX] A water tap is provided with a valve 6 which controls the flow of water through one only of two separate flow passages 4, 5 provided in the tap body 1. In the tap shown the pipe 2 (leading to passage 4) may be connected to an electric water heater having its own valve means for controlling the flow of water therefrom. The pipe 3 (leading to passage 5 controlled by valve 6) may be connected to a fuel-fired domestic water heating device. Hence the tap may deliver water from either of the two sources.
