Abstract
899,832. Pulleys. DAVIS & SON (DERBY) Ltd., JOHN, and DAVIS, W. B. Sept. 6, 1960 [Sept. 10, 1959], No. 30866/59. Class 78 (5). A cable or pull-wire 23 for signalling systems in mines, trolleys, or railways may be inserted into position on a supporting pulley 21 by a sideways movement. The pulley 21 is carried by arms 15, 16, suspended from a pin 13 carried by a bracket 10. The arm 16 is movable from its normal position (Figs. 3, 4) to the position shown in Fig. 1. The pulley is surrounded by two interfitting sheath members 17, 18, which with the pulley 21 may be made of the insulating material described in Specification 882,653.
