892,763. Theatre lighting. MASCHINENFABRIK WIESBADEN G.m.b.H. Jan.18, 1961 [Jan. 19, 1960], No. 2000/61. Class 132(1) A lighting electrician's bridge with projectors for studios is provided with relatively staggered or oppositely disposed flaps 1 each of which opens upwardly and is stepped on both sides approximately in the centre to provide a narrow part and a wide part the narrow part being longer than the wide part so as to provide between each adjacent pair of flaps in the closed position of the flaps, an opening 4 for a suspension device of a projector. The flaps hinge on a series of longitudinal supports 3 mounted below the bridge and suspended from the ceiling by hangers 9. Each flap locks in the open position. Each projector 12 has a telescopic draw tube 14 suspended from a runway rail 16. Electric cables extend from the projectors to cable carriers 11 on the hangers 9. A runway rail 8 below each support 3 carries a pulley for scenery or the like. Each flap comprises a grid and a limited number of cross-bars, interconnect the supports 3.
