899,067. Envelopes. TRANSVAAL ENVELOPE MANUFACTURING CO (PROPRIETARY) Ltd. Aug. 31, 1959 [Sept. 2, 1958], No. 29695/59. Class 146(2) An envelope provided with a flap 11 having a slit 12 therein, is closed by folding the flap inside the envelope and passing a tongue 8, formed by cutting away portions 9, 10 of the side 1 of the envelope, upwardly through said slit 12. The flap and tongue members may be formed from separate parts secured to the envelope. More than one tongue member may be provided and both tongue members and flaps may be provided on each side of the envelope, those tongue members on one side coacting with the flaps on the other side.
