Abstract

843,748. Boxes. RIES, A. C. Nov. 12, 1958 [Nov. 13, 1957], No. 36411/58. Class 18. An opening 2 in one side of a box is closed by a cover 4 of flexible cardboard which slides in guides at each side of the opening, across the end of the box and down the inside of the back of the box. The guides are formed by an inner box 5, having an opening in its front face to correspond with the opening 2, the ends 6, 7 of two sides of.the box 5 being curved towards each other and secured by a tongue and slot, and by a part 3 cut out of the front face to form the opening 2. Projections 11 on the rear face of the inner box form guides at the rear of the box. A finger hole is provided in the cover 4.
