895,187. Finger rings. NEWMAN, B., and WOLF, I. Sept. 6, 1960, No. 30697/60. Class 43. A finger ring has a head 16 with a pair of dependent sleeves 18, a shank 10 of substantially U-shape having each of the legs 12 of substantially uniform diameter with a projection 21 at the free end, each of the legs being telescopically fitted within a sleeve 18, a non metallic resilient lining 25 fixedly mounted within each sleeve contracted around and frictionally engaging a leg of the shank to maintain the leg in any selected position therein, the lining being wholly contained within the sleeve and operative against a portion of the leg within the sleeve, the exterior of the legs being uninterrupted by undulations or projections throughout portions outside of the sleeves in any position of adjustment, each of the sleeves having a non-resilient abutment at the end remote from the head to engage a projection and limit the outward movement of the leg. The resilient lining may comprise neoprene.
