Abstract

895,006. Machinery guards. BEAKBANE (FORTOX) Ltd., HENRY. Aug. 9, 1960 [Aug. 15, 1959], No. 27966/59. Class 80 (4). A corrugated concertina-type cover for reciprocating machinery parts is built up of sections which are joined together by rings 2 which are stuck by adhesive to the adjacent section ends 1b and to each other. Spring clips 4 are placed at intervals around the joint, the clips having spikes 6 to prevent them from being withdrawn. The cover is formed of rings 1, preferably made of leather or rubberized fabric, which are sewn together to form corrugations.
