Abstract

891,740. Cleaning devices. MILTY PRODUCTS Ltd. Sept. 28, 1960 [Oct. 5, 1959], No. 33681/59. Class 19. A hand-operable roller cleaning device comprises a handle carrier 5 having journalled thereon a roll of adhesive tape consisting of a supporting core sleeve 2 and layer-upon-layer of tape 1 wound around the sleeve with the adhesive face directed outwardly. The adhesive peripheral roll surface is renewed, until the tape is exhausted, by removing the outermost layer whereupon the adhesive surface of the next underlying layer is exposed. This may be facilitated by providing a coiled narrow strip of plastics material between adjacent layers. The core sleeve 2 may be of paper or cardboard.
