Abstract
891,439. Mechanical garages. ESPROGA SOCIEDAD LIMITADA. April 19, 1960, No. 13740/60. Class 78 (4). The radially disposed parking bays 3 (Fig. 1) on each floor of a mechanical garage are served by a turntable 10 mounted by a central bearing 9 on a lift platform 8 which is guided at two points on each of two diametrically opposite rails 7. The turntable 10, in plan view, is in the form of a rectangle with outwardly curved ends conforming with the circular apertures in the floors. The guides 7 are mounted in diametrically opposite notches 16 (Fig. 3) in the apertures in the floors, and the lift platform 8 engages the guides 7 through rollers 14, 15, 15. Tracks are provided on the turntable 10 for dollies which transfer the cars. The electric supply to the apparatus on the lift cage is through brushes engaging slip contacts 19 mounted in the shaft.
