890,317. Ornamenting. GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION. Dec. 14, 1960 [Dec. 28, 1959], No. 42999/60. Addition to 827,349. Class 93 [Also in Groups V and VIII] A base sheet 62 of thermoplastic material such as polyvinyl chloride is provided with decorative inlays 59, 60 of different colours to that of the base sheet by fixing a sheet 22 of inlay material e.g. polyvinyl chloride or polyvinylidene chloride in frames 32, 24, 26 and pressing the assembly against sheet 62 in a dielectric heating press having electrode platens 10, 12. Platen 10 carries a ribbed die 16 and a blade 18 which contact the softened sheet 22 and force the inlays into the sheet 62. The inlays 59, 60 may be of different colours and the sheet 22 may be a composite one with concentrically arranged portions of different colours. A number of inlays all of different colours may be formed within the perimeter of inlay 59 by suitable adaption of the frames and embossing ribs,
