CONSTITUTION:A recessed part 8a of a sheet formed article 8 is fited in a recessed part 7a of a core 7. When the core 7 is moved upward to lift a plate 4, an edge part 8b of the article 8 is cut by a peripheral edge 7 of the recessed part 7a of the core 7, and the recessed part 8a of the article 8 is pressed into the recessed part 7a of the core 7a. In this condition, a resin is charged into a gap formed by a stepped part 2c through the gate 3. By the heat and pressure of the resin, a pattern or the like provided in the recessed part 7a of the core 7 is directly transferred onto the outside surface of the recessed part 8a of the article 8. In addition, the sheet formed article 8 and the resin are fusion bonded to each other. Accordingly, an article such as one which has a decorative crown capped on a molded main body such as a control knob of electric apparatus can be produced as one body in a single stroke.
