Abstract
890,125. Heat treatment furnaces. WILDBARFIELD ELECTRIC FURNACES Ltd. May 5, 1960 [April 24, 1959], No. 14165/59. .Class 51 (2). In a heat treatment furnace having a vibratory conveyer 2, inlets 6 and 7 for the admission of atmosphere gas and a shoot 3 leading to a quenching tank 5, a valve-controlled off-take 9 is provided for vapours arising from the quenchant. An ejector 11 maintains a suction in off-take 9. A modification, Fig. 2 (not shown), has a rotary drum conveyer, and another, Fig. 3 (not shown), has twin shoots each with a hood leading into an off-take.
