Abstract

Class 146(1) [Also in Group XIV] A rack for filing, storing or displaying cards or the like comprises a plurality of transparent pivoted units, each unit being formed by vertical sheets 13, 14 and horizontal partition members 6, and divided into a series of vertically disposed pairs of adjacent compartments by vertical partitions 3. The adjacent pairs of compartments are open at opposite ends, being closed at the other end by one of the strips 15, 16, and are provided with slots 5 adjacent the open ends to facilitate removal of the cards. The horizontal partition members 6 are provided with aligned apertures 8 by means of which the units are pivotally mounted on a rear plate 12 or radially around a central support.
