Abstract

918,025. Suspension filing systems. BRINKMANN TO BROXTEN, R. May 22, 1959, No. 17630/59. Class 146 (1). A suspension filing system wherein document holders are supported in sloping position, comprises a plurality of units mounted one above the other, each unit comprising spaced end pieces 21, 22 or 23, 24 connected by at least one support rail. As shown, two such filing systems may be connected back to back. Alternatively, the units are mounted one above the other on a wall by means of co-operating hooks and rails. In another embodiment, Fig. 1 (not shown), the upper end pieces comprise trapezium-shaped frames having parallel inclined top and bottom members joined by a front member at rightangles thereto and a vertical back member. The support rails joining the end pieces of any of the units may carry at least one dividing wall having the same contour as the respective end pieces to separate document holders containing different subject-matter. Similarly shaped walls may be used to cover the end pieces of the units. Specification 880,244 is referred to.
